I posted a chart of the Spanish Bank Bankia here back in May, which at that time, was showing a very profitable downtrend. Amazingly, this trend is still in place, with no exit signal given as yet. In terms of reward:ratio, this trend works out to be approximately 16:1 at things stand.
It is these types of trend that cover a lot of the (small) losing trades, and leaves you a profit at the end of the day. And if you are able to find a handful of these over the course of the year, AND have the ability to stay in the position until you get the exit signal, then you can say you a trend follower.
