Metals on the move?

After being stuck in a rut for a while, we are now seeing signs of life in both gold and silver (charts below). Plenty of stocks in this sector were in a downtrend for the bulk of 2013, mimicking the drop in the metals themselves. Price action over the coming weeks will determine if the mining and resource stocks will also start to trend upwards.
